Banana stem buttermilk

Ingredients

  • Banana stem chopped fine - ½ cup
  • Ginger pieces - ½ tbsp
  • Asafoetida or hing - ¼ tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Buttermilk - 2 cups
  • Water as required

Instructions

  • Take a mixer jar, add banana stem, ginger pieces and little water. Make a very fine paste of this.
  • Strain this or use as it is. Add asafoetida and salt. Mix well.
  • Now add buttermilk, mix properly, adjust water if required and serve chilled or as it is.
