Banana stem buttermilk

- Banana stem chopped fine - ½ cup
- Ginger pieces - ½ tbsp
- Asafoetida or hing - ¼ tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Buttermilk - 2 cups
- Water as required
Take a mixer jar, add banana stem, ginger pieces and little water. Make a very fine paste of this.
Strain this or use as it is. Add asafoetida and salt. Mix well.
Now add buttermilk, mix properly, adjust water if required and serve chilled or as it is.
