Chocolate banana lassi shots are one go deliciously chocolatey summer delights. Do you like chocolate flavour, then this is a must try summer drink. And wonder how to use the potassium rich overripe bananas, then again this is a must try recipe. I am sure kids would love this chocolatey rich lassi shots. These are best perfect way to cool down on a summer day and can be severed as dessert after lunch or dinner. Adding banana gives a nice thick consistency to the lassi. I have flavoured it with cinnamon; other flavours like cardamom, nutmeg can be used. We loved this lassi shots. This yogurt or curd based lassi shots have a soothing effect on the digestive tract. So here is the simple lassi shots recipe

Course: Beverages/Drink

Cuisine: Indian/Punjabi

Preparation time: 5 mins

Cooking time: 10 mins

Serves: 4 nos


Thick curd or yogurt -1 cup

Cinnamon powder- ¾ tsp

Cocoa powder- 1½ tbsp

Banana (ripe) – 2 medium

Sugar (powdered) – ½ cup

Grated chocolate- 3 tbsp

Banana slices- ¼ cup

Water as required


  1. Take a blender and add thick curd, cinnamon powder, cocoa powder, ripe banana, powdered sugar. Give a nice churn until its smooth
  2. Now pour this into a bowl, add banana slices, grated chocolate, water if required. Mix the lassi. Refrigerate the lassi.
  3. Pour this chilled chocolate banana lassi into short glasses, garnish with banana slices and chocolate gratings.



My Notes:

The quantity of cocoa powder can be reduced or increased. Always use a high quality cocoa powder as this forms the major flavor.

Choco chips can be added instead of chocolate gratings.

Banana cubes can be added instead of slices.
